The (Almost) Perfect Substitute to Picnik

FLASH INFO: PICNIK IS TO BE CLOSED

NOOOOOO!!!! Yes, that is bad. I am the ultimate Picnik fan, yet IT'S CLOSING!! NOOOOOOOO!!!! Why, Why, did you have to steal it Google?! WHY?!?!?!?!?

Huff, anyways, since Picnik's closing, I've been on the dilemma on where I'm gonna have to edit my pictures (I join the Photography Club in my school). And there it is, the LIFE-SAVER--------------------------------------------> PICMONKEY (http://www.picmonkey.com/)

Let me just say this, it does not have the sticker thingy in Picnik, but it compensates with airbrush, anti-wrinkle and etc. So yes, if you want a replacement for Picnik, I highly recommend it right now since it's currently my fave :)

Cheese Bitterballen

Ok, I've been away for quite a while, thanks to my books and pressure from the teachers....BUT! I am compensating it by giving in the highly requested recipe, the Cheese Bitterballen.

What is Bitterballen, you say?
It's a Dutch originated finger-food that mainly contains (in my case) rice, meat, and well.....cheese.

Ok, let's start.

What you need:
- 100 gr Margarine
- 100 gr Onion
- 150 gr Minced Meat
-  4 tablespoons Wheat Flour
- 300 ml Milk
- 300 ml Red Rice (other options: white rice)
- some Pepper
- some Salt
- some Stock Block (other options: anything, as long as it's broth)
- and....of course, cube-shaped Cheese

For the layering:
- 2 Eggs
- 3 tablespoons Water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Other Stuff:
- Bread Crumbs

What to do:

1) Stir-fry the onions with margarine. Afterwards, cook the meat along with it until it turns brown.
2) Add the wheat flour, stir.
3) Add the milk, pepper, salt and stock block. Stir
4) Put the cooked rice in, then stir again till it's mixed evenly.
5) Now that we're here, it's the fun part. Roll the mixture to a ball, flatten it (not so much, just to put the cheese in), put the cheese in and make it into a ball again.
6) For layering, mix the layering ingredients.
7) Dip the raw bitterballens into the layering ingredients and roll them around in bread crumbs.
8) Put them into the fridge. Finally, fry.

AND YOU ARE DONE!! ENJOY IT!! XD

P.S: After frying, wait till they cool down to be eaten. Trust me, they actually taste better that way. But then, it's up to you to try it while hot : )
